The U.S. Stimulus Package.

Good or bad? The stimulus package has now been passed by Congress and is awaiting the signature of the president. During the last several weeks, there has been much debate whether this is a good or bad idea. There are individuals with rightful claims on both sides to why their opinion is correct. Looking at the current facts and the economic condition, we all know that something needs to be done to get the economy moving again. The private sector is unable to do it on its own and therefore government action is warranted. The question that arises is, should this action be through tax cuts for businesses or infrastructure building and tax rebate checks mailed to citizens?
